Under the Roan Cliffs presents fifteen renga, a form of linked verse developed in Japan, written by two of the most accomplished renga poets in America, Lorraine Ellis Harr and Brad Wolthers. Their poems were crafted over seven years. This collection stands alone in the tradition of renga because the poems all focus on the American West. The poems are augmented by several screened photographs by Brad Wolthers, whose vast body of poetry and photography reveal his deep knowledge of Oregon landscape and history. The book was produced by Herb Everett of Peace Rose Graphics in Eugene.
