The forty-four poems in Just For Now are vintage Cid Corman: short, compressed poems that often directly address the reader and offer a combination of humor and wisdom. The collection overall reveals Corman’s belief in livingdying. He created this term in order to express the concept that we are all living and dying in each moment. It also contains several of his translations. The book was designed by the artist and poet, Cherie Hunter Day.
